The Asia Pacific Map and Chat Hour (AP-MACH) is an online monthly event hosted by the Open Mapping Hub - Asia Pacific (OMH-AP) that aims to gather OSM enthusiasts to create a regional movement to connect, network, collaborate, map, and have fun together. Its main objective is to create a space where mappers - both new and old, can come together to not just map, but also develop a relationship with each other, because we believe we need to work together as a unified team to strengthen mapping in our region and create a movement.

From August 2021 - December 2021, the OMH-AP has successfully implemented 5 Map and Chat Hour sessions. It was able to account for 583 participants from 31 countries and mapped more than 13,600 buildings in Fiji, Kiribati, and Bangladesh altogther.
