CBERS Satellite Images
The CBERS program is a partnership between the Brazilian and Chinese governments to develop remote sensing technologies.
One of the satellites launched by this program, the CBERS-2B Satellite, had a HRC sensor capable of producing 2.7m imagery for the whole South America.
After consulting DPI-INPE, the Brazilian institution responsible for distributing these images, it was confirmed that they can be used to produce derivated data to OpenStreetMap.
