Mapaton Movilidad Madrid
Rationale
We are a group of volunteers that want to improve the street data in Madrid, so route planners would offer safer routes for bicycles and electric kick scooters.
The objetive is to:
- add missing lanes=* and surface=* keys
- add oneway=yes where needed
- optional: add/complete data about any bicycle shop the volunteers may know
- optional: add/complete data for any cycleways

Community Consultation
We contacted the community using the following communication channels:
Hashtag
We've asked our contributors to use the hashtag #MapatónMovilidadMadrid with their edits.
Timeframe
We'll start on April 27 2021, and expect this project to take a month or more.
Tools and Data Sources
We'll use the Spanish Community Tasking Manager and JOSM
Our data sources will be:
- local knowledge
- PNOA (good, authorized for use for OSM and recently updated ortophotograpy)
- Mapillary

Our mapping team consists of the following OSM users:

Puxan (on osm, edits, contrib, heatmap, chngset com.)- lanxana (on osm, edits, contrib, heatmap, chngset com.)
Training/Instructions
We already did a training to around 20 people, introducing to OSM, the wiki, and JOSM. On the project description in the Tasking Manager there are links to LearnOSM and other sites, in case someone needs it at hand.
