Northumberland is a county in North East England at latitude 55°18′28.80″ North, longitude 2°13′30.00″ West.
Northumberland 88066
88066 is a large ceremonial county and unitary authority in the North East England region. It borders Cumbria to the west, County Durham and Tyne and Wear to the south and Scotland in the north.
Northumberland unitary authority was formed 1 April 2009 replacing the previous two-tier system of county and district councils. It replaced the non-metropolitan county council of Northumberland and six district councils. It is the largest unitary authority in England and the County Council is based in Morpeth.
