Teach, Learn and Discover Geography With OpenStreetMap.

Every year the third week of November is celebrated as National Geographic's Geography Awareness Week. Throughout the week geographically minded global citizens come together hosting a series of events from conferences, seminars, webinars, to career panels and mapping parties. Each event focuses on teaching and expanding on the importance of Geography and learning how it impacts our everyday lives.

During this week there is a spike of activity from the OpenStreetMap community as they come improving the map and exposing map enthusiasts to the OSM project. Members from the OSM community update the osmgeoweek website each year allowing others to find and attends events. Use the links below to discover more information for events each.
