Oracle is another commercial database system like Postgres or MySQL.

It has a spatial geoextension like PostGIS, too.

OSM datas can be imported using a commercial interface called CITRA by CISS TDI GmbH[[1].

Oracle stores logical data in tablespaces and physical data in datafiles. Data dictionary and indexes are stored in SYSTEM tablespace.
