Duplicate nodes in the same way
I've found suspicious way having 7 references to the same node #993879904. Changeset tags says the editor is Potlatch 2. I think, the editor should fold sequence of identical nodes to one reference. E.g. nodes sequence 1012770370, 1012770372, 1012770375, 993879904, 993879904, 993879904, 993879904, 993879904, 993879904, 993879904 should be folded to 1012770370, 1012770372, 1012770375, 993879904

Potlatch 2 Freezes after editing a single feature
I used Potlatch 2 a couple of times successfully, but now every time I create or edit a feature it locks up. The cursor stays as the pen and much of the user interface is inaccessible. This problem is making Potlatch 2 completely unusable for me :-( Dead passive 10:32, 1 December 2010 (UTC)
- Dead passive, could you try after completely clearing your browser cache. What platform and flash version? Installed Flash Version can be found by using this link. -- Firefishy 10:55, 1 December 2010 (UTC)
- I am having what sounds the same problem on two machines. Both Windows XP/Firefox. Latest patches and versions. Flash on one machine "You have version 10,1,102,64 installed" and probably same on other. In addition to the symptoms described, I can continue to pan and zoom, access menu items including Save, but am no longer able to select any way. Ways no longer light up on mouse hover. The condition may be random, sometimes I am able to edit for 30+ mins, sometimes it happens immediately. I found one repeatable case ... but it works just fine today. ... thanks to all for the effort being put in. MikeCollinson 11:14, 4 December 2010 (UTC)

Error
An unexpected error occurred, probably due to a bug in Potlatch 2. Do you want to retry? (The server said: Placeholder Way not found for reference -45 in relation -36.)
My action:I mapped several ways. In the beginning I mapped a multipolygon. By doing that, I made a mistake by adding a polygon as inner-member in the wrong multipolygon. After adding several inner members I recognized the mistake, deleted the wrong membership and added the polygon to the right multipolygon.
I guess, that the discripted Error belongs to that. I guess it means, that a member is missing: the inner-member I deleted.
Because of that the upload was interrupted and I lost the whole work. None of the ways, nodes and relations I created too was uploaded. --elmada 10:23, 15 January 2011 (UTC)
