Summery
A day_beacon is an unlit nautical sea mark. Typically, day beacons supplement channels whose key points are marked by illuminated buoys. Day beacons may also mark smaller navigable routes in their entirety. They are the most common aid to nautical navigation. Their position does not change as they cannot drift.
Reasoning
These marks are esential to water navigation.
How to Map
Add a node where marker is located. Add the sea_mark=day_beacon tag to it.
Add Key: day_beacon=region_A_red day_beacon=region_A_green day_beacon=region_B_red day_beacon=region_B_green |

Sea Mark
day beacon is a Sea Mark. We need a master-tag "Sea Mark", or shorter: "Sea".
sea=day beacon see also: Proposed features/sea mark
We have to discuss all tags together: day beacon, buoy, beacon, lighthouse.
