GPIO3 - power control pin for SirfLoc firmware
GPIO4 - power control pin for standard GSW2 firmware

Citing GWG6203-X DATA SHEET - Rev 2.00 07/2005

When you want to use SiRFLoc Client firmware, you have to connect GPIO3 (Pin 8) with
GPIO3/4 (Pin33) and GPIO3/4 (Pin33) is power control pin for input. On the other hand,
when you want to use standard GSW2 firmware or SiRFXtrac. Firmware, you have to
connect RFPC1 (Pin 9) with GPIO3/4 (Pin33) and GPIO3/4 (Pin33) is power control pin for
input.
