Tableau tableau.com is proprietary software for handling and visualising data, with quite a few geo data features. There's various bits to it, but mostly It's a desktop software sort of like a spreadsheet, but with lots of interactive visualisation capabilities. There is also server capabilities and a way of publishing interactive data on the web. "Tableau Public" and "Tableau Reader" are free to use, while both "Tableau Server" and "Tableau Desktop" paid for (after a 14-day trial)
