Toby, do you have the finished img available somewhere? I'd be interested in comparing this with the alternatives that I layer-in on my eTrex, namely the openmtbmaps UK SRTM and the TalkyToaster contour data. --Mezzanine 07:22, 4 June 2010 (UTC)

  • I have only my local copy; if you know of somewhere willing to host a 151MB file, I'd be happy to upload it for everyone to use.--tms13 09:11, 4 June 2010 (UTC)
    • I can host that, I've got some space already hosting my UK weekly Garmin/OSM, and I've been hoping someone would do the heavy lifting on OS contours so I can compare them against the SMC's set (which are SRTM2-sourced). If you like, upload it to this Google Docs folder and I'll move it to my host from there. --Andygates
  • I now have somewhere to host it: http://maps.coilleais.com/gmapsupp-5322.img --tms13 21:14, 31 March 2011 (BST)
  • I'm now using OpenData Terrain 50 as a replacement. The steps are similar, but as T50 comes in shapefiles, there's no conversion from DXF. --tms13 (talk) 15:10, 27 August 2014 (UTC)
