A first draft of this poster has been posted at Black Diamond, Pincher Creek and Lundbreck, AB. Lets see if we get anyone (other than me) working those areas. --Mungewell 04:31, 31 March 2008 (BST)
- It's a good start. It would be nice to add some graphics, and something that would give a flavour of Canada into it. I'll be printing a few out to put up in my area too. Historybuff 21:59, 10 April 2008 (BST)
- I did the SVG with a white background and a cut out for the map image, this make it easy to insert any map image you'd like without having to carefully crop/match the size. I think a 'before/after' approach is more suited to a 'how to' poster/leaflet. --Mungewell 00:27, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
"publish it on your own web site"
I know what you mean, but people will think they can publish Google and other maps on their site. There is a very simple way to do that and many websites do. This part needs clarifying or removing. (If I had a better idea I'd modify it instead asking here, of course. Please help.) Kempelen 20:41, 18 October 2011 (BST)
