Use

Hi! I just stumbled across this key. I have one basic question: How could we tag an element with this and make clear who is restricted or allowed to use or enter? IMHO access=* should only be used to define the access restriction: Like "yes" / "no" / "private" / "permit" etc.. Why not use boundary=* with "exclusion_zone" or boundary=hazard? - Therefore I think status of this one here should be "draft". --Chris2map (talk) 13:36, 3 December 2022 (UTC)

Since status draft is deprecated on tags I suggest to use "undefined" for this one, because definition is unready IMHO and usage is rare. - access=* demands a restriction value, not a feature. Consider e.g. boundary=*, landuse=*, barrier=*. --Chris2map (talk) 11:29, 8 January 2023 (UTC)
