Craft?

Really? They put an existing key in a machine & press a button. It's not a skill, it's not a craft. The first sentence "A craft=key_cutter is a shop" makes it clear what the correct tag should be. This is not the only craft tag which requires amending. --DaveF63 (talk) 19:01, 10 January 2023 (UTC)

OSM Wiki typically documents actual tagging, even if this tagging is silly. I agree that shop=* would fit better and would support such migration Mateusz Konieczny (talk) 20:51, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
They do in fact have some trained skill to do this, though far from that of a true locksmith . Typically they pick out the right key blank, align it in the machine and may be operating the machine in some specific way to carve the owners shape into the new key .
