A few things about this, if it's a place where "mobile equipment" is sold then it should be shop=mobile_equipment. Same goes for rental place, maybe something like amenity=mobile_equipment? Industrial landuse is meant for the landuse of "workshops, factories or warehouses", not retail shops. It's not even clear by the definition if this applies to landuse or not. Second, the term "mobile equipment" is extremely vague. For instance, it could easily be confused for a mobile cell hardware place or something similar. There's got to be a better term for places that sell back backhoes. I'm actually pretty sure there is already clearer and more used tags for this exact same thing. --Adamant1 (talk) 09:01, 13 June 2020 (UTC)

I completely agree. --Chris2map (talk) 09:15, 13 June 2020 (UTC)

Redirect

I have redirected this page to shop=mobile_equipment because industrial=* is not an appropriate tag for this type of object. --SherbetS (talk) 19:38, 3 February 2024 (UTC)

Then please describe it in the article and give the status "deprecated". These are two different tags, they have different statistics. maro21 22:35, 8 February 2024 (UTC)
