Historic or current?

Is this tag being used for historic nuclear test sites or for currently used sites? It seems from the high number they must be historic locations, including underground and undersea test sites, which might not have any current indication of their historic purpose. --Jeisenbe (talk) 07:27, 26 July 2019 (UTC)
