Template:Map Features:editor keys

Template for the 'Editor keys' table in the Map Features page. Use the default English text or use the template arguments for your translations

Usage

All parameters are optional. By default, text is in English. English writers shall write their comments in the template itself (avoiding double edition). Other languages are translated in template arguments, not in the template itself.

Editor keys

These keys are set by the editor, often JOSM or Potlatch. Please do not change or delete these values.

Key	Value	Element	Comment	Rendering	Photo
created_by	defined by editor		Identifies the editing software which carried out this edit. This should no longer be used on a node, way or relation, instead place this tag on the changeset. Editors can safely remove this tag with all edits, as it is stored in the history of the node, way, relation or changeset.
history	defined by editor		Used to identify a way that has been recovered from an earlier version.
