Usage

{{State Route| r=Routing | h=Stops | rl=Relation}}

How to use

This template works like Template:State_Place and is designed for visualizing the status of a route in the public transport.

What you want What you type
{{State Route|r=|h=|rl=}}
Routing (X/4)Stops (4/4) {{State Route|r=X|h=4|rl=}}
Relation (1/4)Routing (3/4)Stops (2/4) {{State Route|r=3|h=2|rl=1}}
RelationRoutingStops {{State Route|r=NA|h=NA|rl=NA}}

Proposed Usage Definitions

The proposed usage is referenced from Bus Routes in Tokyo. This may be useful as a starting template for your transport page to show the level of details for your route relations.

Base Code (None) NA 0 1 2 3 4 X
r=... (Route) Routing Routing (0/4) Routing (1/4) Routing (2/4) Routing (3/4) Routing (4/4) Routing (X/4)
Unknown. Unknown. Route not mapped. Route partially mapped. Route mostly mapped. Option 1 - Route is fully mapped and awaiting third-party verification.

Option 2 - Route is fully mapped using old route relation schema.

Option 1 - Route is fully mapped and verified by third-party.

Option 2 - Route is fully mapped using new route relation schema (with public transport keys)

Route no longer exist.
h=... (Stops) Stops Stops (0/4) Stops (1/4) Stops (2/4) Stops (3/4) Stops (4/4) Stops (X/4)
Unknown. Unknown. Stop not mapped. Stops partially mapped. Stops mostly mapped. Option 1 - Stops are fully mapped and awaiting third-party verification.

Option 2 - Stops are fully mapped using old route relation schema.

Option 1 - Stops are fully mapped and verified by third-party.

Option 2 - Stops are fully mapped using new route relation schema (with public transport keys)

Stop no longer in use, or stop does not exist.

Due to the introduction of the new Public Transport schema for route relations, there may be instances where distinguishing the level of detail for the route relation may be useful. Thus, it may be useful to use levels 3 and 4 to distinguish between a route relation meeting the requirements of the old public transport schema or the new public transport schema, as opposed to using levels 3 and 4 to denote third-party verification.
