Order

I propose to change order from alphabethical one to one order by popularity or split table in parts "popular" (>1000 uses?) and "other defined". One of listed entries is for example used once worldwide Mateusz Konieczny (talk) 19:11, 30 March 2019 (UTC)

That sounds fine to me. Would it be possible to get rid of the "rendering" and "Photo" sections also? It seems kind pointless to have them if they are just empty. Its wasted space. I don't see the style supporting specific rendering for these things either. Especially given how its currently being ran. Plus, its kind of obvious and universally known what things like baby's clothes or hats are. so a photo for those things are useless even if someone is going to add one. --Adamant1 (talk) 22:16, 13 April 2019 (UTC)

I agree. It's not necessary to completely get rid of them though, just comment them out. I don't see why it would not be possible to do it. --Dhiegov (talk) 23:12, 11 May 2019 (UTC)
I disagree, because it would need unnecessary maintenance in order to keep it consistent: someone would need to verify if some tag became more popular than another (in case the popularity order is chosen) or if some tag that once was not popular, became so (in case the section segmentation is chosen).
I'm also against deleting the not-so-popular tags (in case someone suggests this), as keeping them is nice to avoid mappers using more than one tag for the same thing, we then needing to choose between one of them, end up not changing the then-disagreed way of tagging in respect of the mappers who preffered to map it that way and finally ending up with two ways to tag the same thing. I'm sorry if I went too far on the speculation, but what I said is definately possible to happen. --Dhiegov (talk) 23:06, 11 May 2019 (UTC)
