Restoring text in German

A while ago a now-blocked wiki user changed the text on this page from German to English, affecting hundreds of place pages.

I propose to change the template to display text in each page’s page content language.

Alternative I am less in favour of are:

1. Unpicking the template changes directly is likely to propagate too much German.
2. Adding a lang parameter means intrusive changes on each place page.
3. A separate template is less maintainable and if it is called [[template::DE:Map status]] it tedious to call as the Template: prefix has to be added explicitly.
