Howdy,

My (real) name is Hurricane Coast. I have been mapping Colorado and Seattle mostly. And I love to map the beautiful places that I travel too. I host mapping events in the Seattle, Washington area and I travel to give talks, presentations and group demonstrations on mapping with OpenStreetMap.

I am a member of the OSM Foundation and I support the license change.

The State of the Map Conference is an annual event I look forward to as they get better and more exciting every year! This will be my third year in helping organize this OSM event (read: awesome ;-))

I used to host local meetups 'OSM Colorado',but have passed on the group as I live in Washington now. I give talks to groups interested to learn more about OSM and constantly add POIs like it's an Olympic sport-- competition with my husband.

Mostly I'm an OpenStreetMapper because I love to meet new people and I believe in the cause of free and open data.

I currently work at MapQuest on the Open Initiative.
