Based in Santa Cruz, California, I am relatively new to OpenStreetMap but have been interested in mapping for sometime. I am diving into OpenStreetMap via working with Mapbox and Mapillary, two platforms being built upon OSM.

I am interested in filling in the missing information around Santa Cruz, but also about learning best practices and how to best fulfill the goals of OSM.

A hardware engineer by training, I previously worked at Apple as a systems integrator for two iPods, the iPhone5S, and the Apple Watch. I am currently a system architect at Pearl Automation, an automotive technology startup based in Scotts Valley, CA.
