Hi I'm Kate Chapman, an all around geonerd in Washington D.C. Our local mapping group is MappingDC, we host mapping parties, do data import as well as perform various types of outreach. My real passion is the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team. I've traveled to Indonesia and Haiti as a member of HOT, as well as participated in conferences/working groups surrounding humanitarian relief.
