I started mapping on OSM in 2019 when I received a scholarship to participate in professional training as a geomatics project assistant at the Eureka Geo professional training center. Since then I have contributed to several projects including land use mapping of Cameroon. I also contributed to the implementation of training with UNMAPPERS.

In 2021 I Took part in a twelve week Data Quality Internship at Humanitarian OpenstreetMap Team, the internship was supported by Meta and included training from Mapbox, OSGeo and Kontur. The internship involved in-depth training in a wide range of geospatial tools QGIS, JOSM, Mapbox studio, Overpass Turbo, OSMcha, OSMose, Disaster Ninja, RapId Editor, UMap, OSGeo Live, MapRoulette. Together with 18 fellow interns, we checked and cleaned (validated) a large amount of OpenStreetMap data accross twelve countries to ensure its readiness for disaster response and field mapping activities . This involved working remotely in teams of 4-5 to coordinate our approach and share best practise.

Since my internship at HOT I have been an active member of the Hot Community working Group where I have helped organize webinars on the use of geospatial data for environmental management and other activities.

As an active member of OSM Africa I facilitate the French sessions of the monthly mapathons on OSM and its tools.
