Data item property - documentation wiki pages - with or without underscores

I saw your edit and change to the entry for the "documentation wiki pages" to amenity=events_centre (Q18214). You removed the "_" from the tag value. Is there any issue when the link is specified with the "_" so that it has to specified without? --Chris2map (talk) 15:12, 19 July 2023 (UTC)

No, there is not, indeed, I changed the "_" for the space because this is the way of representing that character used in the other pages. When I started adding the "documentation wiki pages", I always left the underscore; however, I noticed that the space was preferred instead, so I changed it. Sincerely, I would prefer to use the "_", therefore, I am agree with reverting my edition. Davileci (talk) 18:04, 19 July 2023 (UTC)

It doesn't need to be reverted for me. Although I would find it obvious to write the links as the tags are spelled (with an underscore), but if the majority prefers to write without, then that’s OK too. I was interested to know if there is a definition that I don't know yet. Might be discussed when there is time. --Chris2map (talk) 15:17, 20 July 2023 (UTC)
"The space character is unsafe because significant spaces may disappear and insignificant spaces may be introduced when URLs are transcribed or typeset or subjected to the treatment of word-processing programs".[1] Davileci (talk) 23:03, 28 July 2023 (UTC)
"We don't use blanks in tags".[2] Davileci (talk) 01:07, 9 September 2023 (UTC)
