Are you author of image https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/File:138_kV_transmission_lines_in_Kibawe.PNG ?

Or is it copied from some other place (which one?)?

Would you agree to open licensing of this image, allowing its use by anyone (similarly to your OSM edits)?

Would you be OK with https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Template:CC0 (it allows use without attribution or any other requirement) ?

Or do you prefer to require attribution and some other things using https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Template:CC-BY-SA-4.0 ?

I only took this image on Google Street View. I would agree to open licensing of this image, allowing its use by anyone (similarly to my OSM edits) and prefer to require attribution and some other things using https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Template:CC-BY-SA-4.0. If it is from Google Street View then it gets trickier and likely you cannot openly license it :( Mateusz Konieczny (talk) 09:56, 4 May 2021 (UTC)
Yes. If the photo is taken from Google Street View, it gets trickier and likely I cannot openly license it. Ervin11899 (talk) 10:00, 4 May 2021 (UTC)
Is https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/File:98312485.jpg also fro, Google Street View? Mateusz Konieczny (talk) 19:13, 9 October 2021 (UTC)
This photo was taken at Panoramio. Ervin11899 (talk) 06:46, 21 January 2022 (UTC)
Do you have any idea how to track down where it was published or how it was described or how it was licensed? As mentioned on https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Panoramio_files some images were openly licensed while some were unfree. Mateusz Konieczny (talk) 22:18, 1 February 2022 (UTC)
I have an idea how to track down where it was published or how it was described or how it was licensed. I track down where the photo was published by providing a link on where the photo is located, how it was described by providing a description of a photo, and how it was licensed by putting an attribution that the photo is copyrighted because it belongs to another user and not my photo. Google Street View

This images were taken from Google Street View, right? In such case we cannot host them on OSM Wiki - but you can download them if you want before they will be deleted.

Please, do not upload Google Street View images to OSM Wiki, please do not copy from other maps while mapping Mateusz Konieczny (talk) 19:26, 9 October 2021 (UTC)

Sorry that I upload Google Street View images to OSM Wiki. I will not upload Google Street View images to OSM Wiki and copy from other maps while mapping anymore. Ervin11899 (talk) 11:53, 11 October 2021 (UTC)
Did you take all of your uploaded images from Google StreetView? --Tigerfell This user is member of the wiki team of OSM (Let's talk) 11:48, 24 October 2021 (UTC)
Yes, I took those photos on Google Street View. Ervin11899 (talk) 09:47, 26 October 2021 (UTC)

Where it was released

https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/File:Mariveles-Hermosa_500kV_Transmission_Line.jpg

Are you the author of the photo?

If not, where it was released by copyright holder on such license? Mateusz Konieczny (talk) 11:35, 1 December 2021 (UTC)

I am not the author of this photo. This photo was taken by Randolph Abitong Valentos and was posted on Facebook. Link to the photo: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=4523669207718600&set=pb.100002266964174.-2207520000..&type=3. Ervin11899 (talk) 16:24, 1 December 2021 (UTC)
What about following files - what is the source of this photos?
Mateusz Konieczny (talk) 12:44, 17 December 2021 (UTC)
The sources of the photos of Ilijan-Alaminos 500,000 volt transmission line (https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/File:98312485.jpg) is at Panoramio, relocated San Simon-Pulilan segment of Hermosa-Duhat-Balintawak transmission line along Candaba Viaduct in Apalit, Pampanga (https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/File:10359160_339997986170525_859413123730987883_n.jpg) is at Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/ProudFilipinos/photos/p.339997986170525/339997986170525/?opaqueCursor=AbrgvVDXGfP1tKhAq3Fwvx7gtxr-qL7F85ERz_1cLK_qLkLxVVkQhKNr2YtupqcOV2q4dV5j1oZZZLrhjEmbl4v-DMguC6tUeaaHK6qjkH4Kn7uPa_d_pBSXDAIN94_T6vfwD3FiqXfIzScrmVHKnk50WCmw3Di9kcBXqXGRBMP3svo51AwAJP5tZ0pxGhM_yW4snyTS5j4f0JETzff6e7HA-kJFSIJaXlG01sE7VFw6tn8caqTuJnOsEs99Lr5fxTGK5TjKQ45Dy2A8jmNQi7FvAeGSdYslEG_ixueSHNUNBj8KbuA9f8idwK9H9mxQOIZEt8GDGRxkhxhATuTL5Fu5jJYGTz0m6oxZJ7CP3L0n5SH23ZGK9CihAoCe3B0lwuscknWOfqTQqp0wYFmgOZ3GbDzXs9o10l3Y7XenCcX61Ih5uH9cRp8pwvyI4l2zBOaEsVsw-0YQ-mTryAuK25F0kbX5b3GmjnEV2ocVIfRdr805FcTJjZdF5G6x8BdyqQt5efXHrJ49lWQPTNbSjqHNP8zjEPbay7mDxESs8sZpPToEYSQDMJX3KT6F7g6gl5qQsv_mWc4Kyud0x1DUweWQ57Kee370cOXsNwQLJXmwYC5xG0pyeqzXtTgK1gOkQa0), and https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/File:Screenshotter--sanFernandoPampangatobocaueBulacanviaNLEX-9%E2%80%9956%E2%80%9D.png, https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/File:Screenshotter--sanFernandoPampangatobocaueBulacanviaNLEX-10%E2%80%9945%E2%80%9D.png, https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/File:Screenshotter--sanFernandoPampangatobocaueBulacanviaNLEX-18%E2%80%9957%E2%80%9D.png, https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/File:Screenshotter--sanFernandoPampangatobocaueBulacanviaNLEX-18%E2%80%9957%E2%80%9D.png and https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/File:Screenshotter--sanFernandoPampangatobocaueBulacanviaNLEX-6%E2%80%9941%E2%80%9D.png were taken on YouTube. Using start_date on acquired and designated lands and right-of-way (ROWs)

Do I use the start_date= tag on acquired and designated lands and right-of-way (ROWs) even before an infrastructure and structures were built (where I will determine when these lands and ROWs were titled to a particular company or institution thus they are now owned by that institution or company)? Ervin11899 (talk) 22:09, 8 October 2022 (UTC)

Determining if a government institution acquired and designated lands and right-of-way (ROWs)

Do I tag as ownership=public if the lands where the structures stand and right-of-way were acquired and designated by a government institution (examples are if a company that acquired lands where the power line structures are located and portions (ROWs) were acquired by an institution/corporation/company owned by the government of a country)? If you want to ask other - https://community.openstreetmap.org/ is likely the best place for that (login with OSM account, not OSM Wiki account) Mateusz Konieczny (talk) 23:22, 24 February 2023 (UTC)
Yes. Thank you. Ervin11899 (talk) 06:52, 25 February 2023 (UTC)

Too much detail in Power networks/Philippines

I don't mean to discourage you from editing here, but I find you frequently adding too much details in Power networks/Philippines. Please rest if you can, and avoid too much detail not of much interest for mapping. TagaSanPedroAko (talk) 08:47, 30 April 2023 (UTC)

Yes. I will rest if I can, and avoid too much detail not of much interest for mapping. Ervin11899 (talk) 11:27, 2 May 2023 (UTC)
You just added lot of info of little interest to mapping again in Power networks/Philippines. Historical operators can be of interest for tagging under old_operator or operator:(dates), but please keep these info to a minimum. Rest, or avoid the urge to edit that frequently, adding info that adds little value for mappers. TagaSanPedroAko (talk) 03:46, 20 May 2023 (UTC)
I am sorry, TagaSanPedroAko for adding a lot of info of little interest to mapping again in Power networks/Philippines. It is not intentional. Starting from now, I will rest or avoid the urge to edit Power networks/Philippines page frequently. Ervin11899 (talk) 11:32, 20 May 2023 (UTC)
