World Wind is an open-source digital globe produced by NASA and providing access to content contributed by both NASA and the open-source community at large.

OpenStreetMap Add-On

WorldWind.net can load the OpenStreetMap tiles in via a Telascience WMS. There are 2 OSM layers available, standard map and hybrid (transparent), there is also an OpenAerialMap layer with satellite and aerial photos.

  • download osm.xml file to C:\Program Files\NASA\World Wind 1.4\Config\Earth\OSM.xml
