Numbers identifying legislative routes that may no longer be in active use. For example, in Pennsylvania, this refers to the pre-1987 assignment of five-digit numbers (two for the county, and three for the route), which survive today for state and U.S. traffic routes but bear no relation to the modern four-digit quadrant routes.
