The ceremonial county of Lincolnshire , in the East Midlands region of England, is made up of the non-metropolitan county of Lincolnshire together with the unitary authorities of North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire . The two unitary authorities are part of the Yorkshire and the Humber region of England. Lincolnshire borders with the ceremonial counties of Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Rutland, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, South Yorkshire and the East Riding of Yorkshire.
The non-metropolitain county of Lincolnshire is divided into seven districts:
