Map for (High) Speed Cycling

Requirements

• High contrast:
  • white background
  • important roads colored black
• Cycle lanes and tracks are not prefered (or should even be avoided)
• Residential roads have low priority
• Not only contour lines but rather filled contours with elevation dependent color
• Hill shading

Very beginning. Modifications of User:Radfahrer/Radkarte.

• gmt - also linux version available
• Srtm2Osm
• Srtm2wayinfo
• Online typ file editor - a bit slow and not very comfortable
• Mapnik Symbols to enhance the typ file
• Contourlines
