How

Would it be an "amenity=parking" with "maxstay=load-unload"? Or a parking with "kiss_ride=yes" like "park_ride=yes"?

I don't like this because we would need to filter out amenity=parking when searching for actual parking POIs that are not kiss&ride. I can agree for P+R but not for K+R--Nighto (talk) 16:08, 7 February 2023 (UTC)
amenity=parking includes parking=street_side and parking=lane now. They have to work together. --- Kovposch (talk) 04:28, 8 February 2023 (UTC)
Yes, but IMHO while "park and ride" means parking (as in stopping your vehicle, turning off the engine and leaving it for hours); "kiss and ride" does not, you only stop it for a minute or two, as quickly as possible. That's not really parking.--Nighto (talk) 08:58, 8 February 2023 (UTC)
amenity=parking is used for all facilities. This would be in restriction=* .

These K+R's are quite common in the Netherlands. I would like to add them, and am missing a real Kiss and Ride feature. I agree that a amenity=parking can be quite misleading. Janvlug (talk) 12:57, 29 October 2023 (UTC)

It's not. There are restriction=no_standing , restriction=loading_only , and restriction=charging_only . They are using the same amenity=parking / amenity=parking_space , not amenity=loading_space or amenity=charging_space .
