Sadly State of the Map 2015 was cancelled.
Despite an initial call for venues to host State of the Map, the 2015 conference was cancelled in February 2015 [1]. Finding a suitable date and venue proved problematic and with insufficient time to reissue a call for venues it was decided not to attempt a rushed conference. A call for venues for 2016 was issued the following month.
Of course there were a many other events and local State of the Map conferences happening in 2015, including:
- State of the Map France 2015 was held in May 29-31 in Brest.
- State of the Map U.S. 2015 was held in June 6-8 in New York City.
- State of the Map Latam 2015, the first Latinamerican conference, was held in September 4 in Santiago, Chile.
- State of the Map Taiwan 2015 (in cooperation with OSM Indonesia) was held in September 20 in Taipei.
- State of the Map Scotland 2015 was held in October 2-3 in Edinburgh.
- State of the Map Catalonia 2015 was held in October in Barcelona, Spain.
