A ambulance station is a structure or other area set aside for storage of ambulance vehicles, medical equipment, personal protective equipment, and other medical supplies. Most stations are made up of garage bays or a parking area, normally undercover.

An ambulance station is a structure or other area set aside for storage of ambulance vehicles, medical equipment, personal protective equipment, and other medical supplies. Most stations are made up of garage bays or a parking area, normally undercover.
This isn't the same thing as patient transport used to transfer patients from one hospital to another. Patient transport vehicles aren't usually capable of responding to emergency call outs and are usually housed at hospitals.
