The military=academy tag should be used to map military installations where the primary purpose of the installation is to provide training and/or education to service members. This should be a dedicated installation, rather than simply a military=base where training is carried out amongst other functions. An example is Britannia Royal Naval College Dartmouth - a naval academy for trainee officers in the British Royal Navy.

Military schools for children should instead be tagged with military=school but only if they provide military cadet education.

How to map

Draw the outline area of the area, either as a single building or entire campus, depending on the installation.
