I especially enjoy adding _green_ items to the map, e.g. parks, nature reserve, paths, playgrounds, and woods. I use a Garmin bike computer to navigate on the roads which is powered by OpenStreetMap, so I'm attentive to routing issues for bicycle and pedestrian navigation.
OSM History
I joined the project in 2009 but started contributing more actively when fellow geography undergraduate Template:User=PhilR8 and me decided to detail map our college campus, Towson University, around 2011. Since then, I've led several major imports, including the Baltimore County Building and Address Import, Baltimore City Building Import v2 and an import of Maryland's parks and protected lands. In 2021, I joined the Data Working Group
