My home is in the Wallingford area of Seattle. I've been mapping for over 18 months with great enthusiasm. OSM continues to grow despite an unclear vision. Mostly the growth happens because people become empowered. You see something that you think needs fixing or adding, you just do it. Well, just don't import it. Lets see if we can create an OSM vision.

Two projects I'm working on currently. First is the mapping of the three National Parks in Washington State. Rainier, North Cascades and Olympic National Parks are within a days drive of home. Rainier is looking much better. North Cascades needs streams, lakes and glaciers added. Rainier needs the glaciers redone to match NHD views. (Another import!) Olympic is an unknown at this time. All three need site surveys. Summer would be a great time to host mapping parties at each of the visitors centers.

The second project is to import King County addresses and Seattle building outlines. It is a work in progress.
