Suggestions to improve network:type=node_network-tagging with my new suggestions

Node network routes don't have a name. Instead, the network as a whole has a name and everyone makes up their individual route as they follow the signs. network:type=node_network encourages putting to=* and from=* into the name, along with the refs (like name=Schweinrich (27) - Flecken Zechlin (86)). This is a prime example of a route name that is incompatible with Nominatim. This proposal explicitly excludes node networks, but the following rules could enable searching for them in the future:

  1. If it doesn't have a name, don't invent one. Use noname=yes for these. If you really want to have a "name", use description=* instead.
  2. They usually don't have a ref. However, it makes sense to keep putting the 2 rcn_ref=* values into ref=* the way it is encouraged right now.
  3. Make use of from=* and to=*, don't put these into the name=*.
