I'm new to OSM. I live in Marathitis, Heraklion, Crete.

I am originally from Germany, but I will live here on Crete for some years. I'm learning Greek now. My Greek is not very good yet. I understand something, but otherwise I use an online GR->EN translator. I will most likely not write in Greek, but in English until the end of 2011. After that.. Let's hope! Contact me in English, German or Greek.

I own a GOSGET S1 data logger. I like cycling, so I will contribute some GPS-Tacks. Of course I can also tag some local features, names, shops, bus-stops, etc. And of course German translation, where necessary.

Stuff I'm working on

• slight touch up of the OSM-Logo
• maybe a completely new logo also for the OSM-FOUNDATION.
• Greek new recruitment Poster (eventually to be translated to Greek)
• SVG-redraw of a very nice OSM-Compass idea by Miskellaneous
• transliterating/transcribing map data from/to different languages, esp. Greek-English.
• Setting up an independent metropolitan community network in Heraklion.
