Summary

Description
English: Taken in Stará Ľubovňa (Slovakia), 49.309444N,20.678889E.

Example of the house numbering scheme used in Czech Republic and Slovakia.

The red number refers to the street number (just like everywhere else in Europe), and the black (or blue) one is a unique, consecutive number of the building in the town - the conscription number.

Unusually in Europe, this house additionally carries numbers from two "domains": the left set is the house number on the square (náměstí, námestie), the right set is the house number on the adjacent street.
