Description
English: U.S. Navy Capt. James Haugen, commanding officer, Naval Air Facility Misawa, surveys the damage to the U.S. FISC Yokosuka Defense Fuel Support Point Hachinohe following a tsunami, which was triggered by an 8.9-magnitude earthquake, March 11, 2011. The earthquake was the largest ever recorded in Japan, which caused considerable damage to the country's eastern coastline.
