Legal access restriction for horse-drawn carriages.
In the UK horse-drawn carriages are not permitted on motorways and a very small number of other roads, such as the Conwy Tunnel and the Penmaenbach Tunnels on the A55. They are permitted to use restricted byways.
In general the tag is likely to be used in two special cases:
- Motor roads which specifically exclude horse-drawn carriages.
- Paths and tracks where they are allowed.
For values see access=*.
horse-drawn_vehicle=* is a less frequently used alternative.
