If I am not mistaken there is only one parameter that actually has to be specified: The input file name.
-in=file.osm
-in also supports
- osm.bz2 and
- osm.pbf
Default output name is mapweaver.svg.
If a pbf file is used this will be converted to osm file format first. You might consider doing this only once and use the osm file for further processing of the same data.
SRTM elevation data
If not already present in your data you can specify a separate file where Mapweaver will get the elevation data:
-srtm="srtm.osm"
Mapweaver will first extract the needed data and then merge it with the other map data. Sources for data:
