Description

A shop that is specalised in selling sweets (candy) or even producing them.

Rationale

Sometimes there are shops that only sell sweets (candy), we have also a shop here in town that it making sweets and everybody can watch them how they do it. Actually it is an tourist magnet. But I also talk about a small corner shop that does not sell anything else (not like a kiosk). There was also a rejected features called shop=candy. But I don't know why it was rejected, even if that was more than 2 years ago and I think it is time again to talk about this again.

Why I choose shop=sweets over shop=candy ? Easy.

  1. Sweets is international where candy is taken from the american english.
  2. the vending machine tag also have a vending=sweets tag. So I think it is easier to find.

Usage

Add a node node tagged "shop=sweets" in the center of the shop. Larger shops may be mapped as an area area tagged as "shop=sweets".
