The bin tag is used to indicate the presence of an amenity=waste_basket associated with a feature, most commonly a public_transport=platform or highway=bus_stop.
Values
- bin=yes: A waste basket exists, which may or may not be mapped separately.
- bin=no: A waste basket is not present.
- bin=separate: A waste basket exists, and is mapped separately.

Bus stop platform with a shelter, bench, and waste basket:
