In the public telecommunication networks a telephone exchange is located in a central office (CO), typically a building used to house the inside plant equipment of potentially several telephone exchanges, each serving a certain geographical exchange area. wikipedia:Telephone_exchange

It is recommended to use telecom=exchange to map exchange itself.

Name Conventions

It is suggested that the name of building include the key:clli code. Such as: "Central Office WDSTILWS" when the building is commonly called a (local) central office or "10 South Canal (Central Office CHCGILCL)" when the building has another common name.
