This is a sub-tag to be used along with the more ambigious amenity=restaurant
and/or amenity=fastfood
and/or amenity=cafe
As the name describes, the restaurant or establishment, needs to serve coffee.
In Various countries, "Coffee Shop" may mean different things.
For the mapnik render... it would show up as a brown cup of coffee.
For a Garmin map to see it, it should be "Dining (bagel/donut)" 0x2a0d
An alternate tagging would be amenity=cafe.
Where the Garmin has a category Food "dining (cafe/diner)" 0x2a0e
In Canada 'Tim Hortons' is an example of a feature where some would look at it as a 'fast food place' Since the service is quick. However, it is not a 'Quick' as in the Belgium Fast-food outlets, where Hamburgers & French fries are the specialty. Hamburgers are sold at 'Wendy's' which is partially owned by Tim Hortons.
Since there is some Tim Hortons the 'Duncan Donuts' style or the 'Country Style Dohnuts'. Calling it a 'Cafe' would not be correct. As the Coffee is what Tim Hortons is famous for, not the dohnuts. A 'Starbucks' would be considered a 'Cafe'
