As per IEC 466-05-05, bundles of the line are located on vertices of an isosceles triangle shape which base is not always horizontal.
It could be also called trefoil sometimes, particularly underground.

A new kind of power tower in UK, with a special design of T-shape. Two 3 phases circuits are suspended on those supports. As the triangle formed by insulators for each circuits looks like isosceles, we use delta value here.
