A Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI) is a visual aid that provides guidance information to help a pilot acquire and maintain the correct approach (in the vertical plane) to an airport or an aerodrome.

It is generally located on the left-hand side of the runway, approximately 300 meters beyond the landing threshold of the runway.

How to map

Set a node node in the middle of the 4 lights and add aeroway=navigationaid + navigationaid=papi

You will find the PAPI about 400 m behind the beginning of the runway, mostly on the left side. Good satellite images show 4 floodlights in a row. Add a node in the middle of the system.
