List of web map display libraries - Important page!

This page is important. I've spent several years linking people to this page because it's the best place giving a list of different web map display libraries. It's a simple list with the most commonly used ones towards the top. We can change the page to improve it, maybe it needs "clean-up". But if clean up involves removing this very useful and very important list then no. No it does not need clean-up.

To my mind the best way to clean up the page would be to revert it to the way it was mid-2010 because the CMS frameworks is a different topic belonging on a different wiki page, and visually that table is rather heavy. Another good thing to do would be to rename the page something like "Web map display libraries". The current name is not great, but as mentioned above, there are a lot of translations and incoming links to sort out if we want to do that.

Well as you say the name is not great, so I tried to bring content here that would help different people to embed a slippy map in different web pages. So I would expect this as a Portal and I just mentioned, that the web map libs are already at Frameworks (which is IMHO more consistent) --!i!
