Term of office starts when?

New 'Officers & Board' people were elected at the Foundation/AGM07, but was that also the start date (aug 11th) of their term of office? Probably should be stated somewhere (unless I've missed it) -- Harry Wood 16:45, 3 September 2007 (BST)

Income and Advertising

Why the fundation could not have some income with advertising. The OSM data contains node from shops and amneties . Many of them are displayed on the website openstreetmap.org. This make some free advertising for those shops, restaurants ... Could the fundation ask for some money to display those POI on the site. Big compagnies as McDonalds, Marks & Spencer, Carrefour ...., might be interrested in. If it works, it would make a stable source of income. -- rogerdupondt
